I have an ambition to know Jesus and to understand His will for me. I come from a wonderful family who loves me and supports me. They told me about Jesus, but they could only tell me so much. It wasn't until I really experienced Him for myself that I actually began to know Him. I have been on a journey of discovering that I am far from perfect. Some of the things I used to think were right, were wrong. My eyes have been opened to grace, and I am starting to see clearer. Psalm 19:7-9 has been a source of truth to me...I love the original version but I like to paraphrase sometimes to help me better understand..."The rules of the Lord are flawless, transforming the soul. The story of what God has done is unchanging, making nothing into something incredible. The will of God is never wrong, bringing joy to the heart. The instructions of the Lord are uncontaminated, making you able to see clearly. The character of God is perfect, and there will never be an end to Him. The decisions God makes are always fair and consistant. He does not waver." I want to know Him more, I hope this year in Slovenia will bring me nearer yet, and that in the process others might come to see Him as He is. More precious than anything.
This blog is about how God works in Slovenia this year. It will mostly be my personal thoughts, the things God is teaching me, and how He is using me. I pray it will be encouraging to all that read it!
